SFA Gardens will host the 2026 Fruit Research Field Day on Friday, September 18. It will begin at 8:30 am with coffee and donuts followed by presentations by Dr. David Creech and Dr. Tim Hartmann at the Brundrett Conservation Education Building, 2900 Raguet St. in Nacogdoches. After lunch on your own, there will be a field trip to visit research plots in the SFA Gardens featuring muscadines, kiwis, figs, feijoas, blueberries and more. Cost is $30 per person.
