College of Liberal and Applied Arts

Students in the College of Liberal and Applied Arts learn to communicate effectively, analyze complex social and cultural issues, learn to make important judgments, and are taught how to formulate strategies that will address the issues of tomorrow. A degree from the College provides excellent preparation for leadership, clinical, and public service roles. Nearly all of SFA's native undergraduate students take a significant number of their undergraduate courses in the College of Liberal and Applied Arts. The College is home to most of the departments offering courses in the University core curriculum. This is a pivotal role for the College in assisting the University to attain its overall academic mission. A gift to the College of Liberal and Applied Arts ultimately will benefit the university.
